What you need to know about Search Engine Optimization

Posted on March 24, 2006 -- Drew Stauffer

The Internet is getting to the point to where it isn’t as scary as it used to be. 10 years ago everybody knew about the Internet. People knew if they searched long and hard they would be able to find what they are looking for. It really served more as a specific resource center. It was easier to find out about the “rare African Ant Eater” than general animals in Africa.

Nowadays, the Internet is a place where if you have any kind of thought in your head, you can probably find some info about it on the Internet. Here comes the Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

  • Do you have a website?
  • Are you happy with the design and development?
  • Can users find your website?

Business’ today know that their company can be so much more profitable if it’s on the web, but it’s not good enough to “just” be on the web. Today’s web requires you to focus your website on a specific market.

Do you have an alibi?

Posted on March 21, 2006 -- Drew Stauffer

The face of Alibi Productions has changed again. Alibi began in 2002 and has served as my home for designing and developing in San Diego Ca. I began alibi to showcase all of my work while I was in college. Over the past 5 years it has grown from sketches on the napkins to designing and developing professional websites for 3 independent companies.

I currently design and develop custom websites for einstein industries, wildfire productions, and alibi productions. I enjoy what I do so it never really seems like a job. I’ve heard that’s a good thing.

Just Art Related

Wildfire’s newest completed project, Just Art Related just went live in Nov ‘05.

Jalina came to us to develop and design a new website for her custom wedding invitation business. She had an existing website that worked but it wasn’t representing her business in the professional manner she wanted. We worked with her for about 3 months going over ever part of the company. Wildfire was able to develop a custom look that suited Just Art Related perfectly.

Just for the family

Posted on March 21, 2006 -- Drew Stauffer

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I want to get a few of your opinions. If I create another blog…maybe a family blog, would you use it?

Let me start off by explaining what this is. This is a website where I can post our stories and we can all comment on them. Next trip mom goes on i’ll post them up and i’ll show you what i mean.

I am thinking this would be a nice way for everybody to keep in touch. Of course most of you are very good at emailing everyone, but this is one location that will have everything. This way you dont have to worry about deleted messages, or even worse emails that never went through.

It’s kind of nice because its an ongoing conversation. The good times never stop. haha

I would be more than happy to take care of everything…all I need to know is that every once in a while you actually check it and post your comments.

Please forward this url Drew Stauffer to anyone in the family that might want to keep in touch.

T-mobile is a hack

Posted on March 21, 2006 -- Drew Stauffer

I’ve been a loyal T-mobile customer for over 3 years and just recently I was able to test out their Award Winning Customer Service.

My phone started to drop calls all the time last Oct. I called T-mobile and their suggestion was a new phone. I had the phone for literally 5 mins before the problem presented itself again. Four phones later, I still can’t make a call for longer than 2 mins. They will only let me out of my contract for their spiffy little $200 Cancellation Fee.

If I had never gotten the first replacement phone, I would have been able to cancel my contract with no problem. Instead, the new phone extended my contract for another two years. Even though their new service never worked, they still want to hold me to their part of the contract.

If you have T-mobile I strongly suggest you get out of your contract as soon as possible!
